Call The Future

I’m yet to try this. So I’m not recommending it. Merely making you aware of it.

Call The Future allows you to enter a phone number, the text that should be heard when the person at the other end picks up, the voice that should speak it (I figure it might sound like a bad robot) and what the caller ID should display. Along with the time and date the call should be made.

If you’re in need of skipping work early, flagging a meeting or ditching the date from hell this could be great. I can think of a myriad of reasons why this would be bad though and how it will be abused as a service.

Free at the moment and still in test, so don’t be surprised if it doesn’t work the first time. Or if it doesn’t work at all and instead the number you enter gets spammed with random SMS’s.

Let me know how it goes!?

One Response to “Call The Future”

  1. the voice on the other end is pretty robotic and obviously not “human” but it’s a great service for scheduling reminders and appointments – especially if you’re out and about. I like the emergency excuse to leave a meeting thing too 😉
