Ufem – Blogging For Women

Bit of an odd one this. Just recently we saw the launch of Ufem. A blogging portal specifically for women. Now don’t get me wrong – women empowering women and in the field of IT is great. But seriously, a blogging portal specifically for women? I’m not sure what the reason would be?

As I say. Odd. It also seems to be using the WordPress sign up and install too.

However, one thing I’m particularly liking is the use of Engwish. I know the offering is currently in a trendy Beta state…but come on. Spellcheck anyone?
